The Niklbeer Party Cruise 08 has "Jumped Ship".....Carnival has delayed the arrival of the Trimph so we Jumped to the Norwegian Spirit......Same date - January 13 -20, 2008 out of New Orleans....with four exciting ports.... Costa Maya, Santo Thomas De Castilla-Guatamala, Belize and Cozumel.....The Spirit also has "Free-Style Dining".....eat when you want...with who you want...where you want (There are 10 resturants to choose from)... We will also welcome our friend and special guest entertainer TK Hulin.....who will be performing with the NIKLBEER band. MING is planning on coming aboard as a "Guest".....Can't wait to see him! Our friend from Louisiana is back from California and has not missed a BEAT....Allen Wayne is back and working harder than ever. He is now singing for the Boogie Kings and is also writing and recording. May 21, 2006	BENEFIT FOR DOT DUGAS - ROBERT'S LOUNGE
Everyone who has visited Robert's Lounge knows Dot Dugas. Dot suffered a unexpected stroke after having surgery. All proceeds will be used to help defray medical expenses. Niklbeer is honored to be able use our talents to support a worthy cause. Starting at noon, four bands (Just For Fun, CoCodrie, Sideshow & Niklbeer) and a slew of special guests (T.K. Hulin, Allen Wayne, Steve Adams, Damon Troy, Burt Bernard, Murray Conque, Blaine Roy, Teddy B. and Charlene Howard) will take to the stage on Old Market Street next to Robert's Lounge. If you've never been to Robert's Lounge, Sunday will be a golden opportunity to hear the best music in Louisiana. Special thanks to Russell Castille for providing Sound Services. And please, No Ice Chests.
February 28, 2006	MARDI GRAS - NIKLBEER TO PLAY AT KING'S COURT
Prepare to party! On Mardi Gras Day Niklbeer will be playing at King's Court, Downtown Lafayette at the corner of Polk & Vermilion in Lafayette from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. And what does it cost??? Absolutely nothing!!! So what if you weren't able to make the cruise...No Problem! It's the same party...without the motion-sickness. It really is a great time--lots of dancing and you can catch plenty Mardi Gras Throws at the parades. It's also the best place to get your picture in the paper, or better yet...you might make it on the 10 o'clock news!

2005 was a "bittersweet" kind of year for the band as everything looked so good starting off with all the great Mardi Gras balls, the Spring Festival's and Fairs, while planning the NIKLBEER CRUISE for Thanksgiving week. Then Katrina followed by Rita, changed Louisiana Forever. Our prayers go out to everyone affected, especially Teddy & Lisa Hebert (Drummer), who had a lot of water damage in their NEW house...The NIKLBEER CRUISE was a huge success and we would like to thank everyone who came "on board" with us and made the party a GREAT one. We finished off 2005 with good Christmas Parties followed by a Great NEW YEARS EVE Party...Look out 2006 !!!!!!

Niklbeer would like to thank all of you who came out to see us last Saturday at Pat's Atchafalya Club. It was great getting to catch up with everyone from the cruise, and we hope to see all of you again when we come back to the Atchafalya Club in August. We hope everyone enjoyed visiting with Ming Boudreaux during his surprise visit to Henderson, and we wish Ming well on the Carnival Conquest during the next 9 months. We will miss you Ming!

Niklbeer & Sue Terriot with Travel Machine will be hosting a "Post Cruise Blues" party at Pat's Atchafalaya Club on Sat, June 26th. Everyone who attended the 2004 Niklbeer Cruise earlier this year is invited. The function will start at 6:30 and light hors d'oeuvres will be served, courtesy of the Sue Terriot and Travel Machine. Everyone is encouraged to bring their cruise pictures and memorabilia to share.

NiklBeer has finalized our Caribbean Cruise plans for 2005! The 2005 cruise will be from Sunday, Nov 20th thru Sunday, Nov 27th on the Carnival Conquest sailing out of New Orleans. The Conquest sails to Jamaica, Grand Cayman and Cozumel and there are many wonderful activites and events both on ship and in the ports. NiklBeer and our guests had an awesome time on our first cruise this past January, and we hope that all of you can join us in 2005. One of our super-subs on guitar, Russell Castille, has formed a local band with the former drummer from Kounterfit, Casey Poche, called Side-Show. They performed recently in St. Martinville and at the Parks Cracklin Festival. Russell will be on the 2005 NiklBeer Cruise playing guitar for the band. Check out their website at www.sideshowla.com

Nikl Beer hosted their Annual Crawfish Boil in Catahoua at Terry Guidry's home. Ming Boudreaux from the Carnival Conquest cruise ship was the band's special guest. Ming is on a 2 month vacation at his home in China, and he will be returning to the US and South Louisiana on June 26th. Nikl Beer is playing at the Atchafalya Club in Henderson on June 26th, and Ming will be the band's honorary guest as we welcome him back to Acadiana.

Nikl Beer is in the process of finalizing the details for our 2005 Caribbean Cruise. The Cruise will once again be aboard the Carnival Conquest sailing out of New Orleans. We will update everyone once the final dates are set.
